• Illinois State University in Normal announced the following students completed requirements for a bachelor's degree at the end of the summer 2007 term.
Arlington Heights: Sean R. Sterner (magna cum laude), Marie Lauren Guillo, Renee Lynn Gustafson, Brittany Nicole Herzog and Peter Jonathon Siewerth.

• Kelly Hayden, daughter of Christopher and Sandra Hayden of Arlington Heights, was named to the fall semester dean's list at Illinois State University, Normal, for achieving a 4.0 grade-point average. She is a freshman geology major.
• John Doerre of Arlington Heights completed requirements for a master's degree from Illinois State University, Normal, at the end of the 2007 summer session.
• Melissa Zawadzki of Arlington Heights completed requirements for a master's degree from Illinois State University, Normal, at the end of the 2007 summer session.
• Caroline Ashley Hollis of Arlington Heights graduated with a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, at the end of the 2007 summer semester.
• Brian M. McNichols of Arlington Heights graduated with a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, at the end of the 2007 summer semester.
