Comcast, Motorola extend deal

PHOENIX -- Comcast Media Center, a unit of Comcast Corp., and Motorola Inc., both responsible for developing the first national platform for digital video services via cable systems more than a decade ago, have signed a multi-year agreement to develop the next generation of equipment and content authorization solutions for the Comcast affiliates. Motorola has operations in Libertyville.
