McConnaughay the best chair choice

I am writing this letter today in support of Karen McConnaughay for Kane County board chairman.

As village president of Algonquin, I have had the opportunity to work with Karen on a number of initiatives, most notably the Longmeadow Parkway bridge.

I can tell you without reservation that her vision and leadership on this project has been the key to our progress thus far. She was here several times during morning and evening rush hours to see for herself the traffic back-ups.

She immediately began to form a working coalition of municipal and civic leaders from the region to work together for a solution. Today, we are closer than ever to realizing the planning and construction of a bridge and parkway that will enhance the quality of life for thousands of citizens in the north end of the county.

Karen has the energy and enthusiasm for getting things done and is passionate about serving the residents of Kane County.
