Seminar to discuss childraising

A free community seminar on a natural approach to raising healthy children will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Awakenings Holistic Healing Center, 880 Lee St., Room 201A, Des Plaines.

Dr. John Hicks will discuss working with pediatricians to give more treatment and care options for children; choosing a diet to improve attention and prevent allergies; essential vitamin supplements; vaccinations; and developing a healthy immune system.
