Preschool kids get a taste of summer

There may have been a wind chill of 25 below, but for the 2-year-old class at Noah's Ark Christian Preschool, it was a like summer day.

Dressed in their summer clothes, these 2- and 3-year-olds celebrated the day by bouncing beach balls and dancing to Caribbean music.

For a snack, they helped their teachers crush vanilla wafers and piled them high on top of vanilla pudding to make "buckets of sand" for a yummy treat.

The swimming pool art project was a hit as they squirted paint and rolled little balls around to make masterpieces.

Noah's Ark Christian Preschool is at 98 Algonquin Road, at Route 59, in Barrington. For details, call (847) 844-3738.
