Prayer breakfast set for Saturday
The seventh Rolling Meadows Community Prayer Breakfast has been scheduled for 7:30 a.m. Saturday, 2720 Kirchoff Road. The program will include breakfast, music, prayer and a meditation. Tickets are $10. Tickets must be purchased by today.
Chaplain (Major) Steve Cooper of the Illinois Army National Guard will speak. Cooper was stationed in Iraq from January 2004 through February 2005. In addition to the Bronze Star, chaplain Cooper has been awarded the Army Achievement Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
