Long Grove puts more money for egg hunt

The Long Grove village board on Tuesday agreed to increase the donation given to the annual Spring Egg Hunt, which trustees touted as a true community event. The board agreed to donate $800 to the event as opposed to the $232 given last year. The board agreed that much of the community comes out to the annual event. The board also gave $5,000 to the Long Grove Arts and Music Council, which puts on concerts and other events throughout the summer.
