St. Charles boys gymnasts dominate at invitational

The boys from St Charles Gymnastics Academy enjoyed a solid meet at the Mardi Gras Invitational at Barrington High School, hosted by Bartlett Gymnastics Jan. 26 and 27.

The Level 10 team swept the podium, placing first, second, and third in the all around competition. Sean Johnston placed first while Kai Kosog and Ryan Johnston placed second and third at all around.

Other first-place all around trophies were awarded to Dylan Carroll and Stephen Rodenkirch in Levels 4 and 5 while Matthew Sullivan, Joe Duffield and Josh Clapper representing Levels 4, 5 and 6 each received third place all around trophies. Individual scores included:
