St. Charles girls Level 7 team wins at national meet

The St. Charles Girls Gymnastics team traveled to Florida for the National Whitlow Sandollar Invitational held at Disneyworld in Orlando.

More than 150 gymnastic clubs attended covering 30 states as well as Costa Rica and Canada. The Level 7 team took the team gold by placing first out of 51 teams.

Three girls took first place all-around honors: Jaclyn Allen, Jordan Fisher and Anna Burns. Four girls took second place all-around honors: Dominique Brognia, Nina Paganucci, Kelly Gorniak and Laura Burns, while three girls took home third place all around medals: Sydney Copeland, Sierra Thiesse and Brooke Fisher.
