Spaghetti dinner to aid ill Willard School student

The Willard Elementary School PTO is hosting a spaghetti dinner to benefit a sixth-grade student who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 22 at the South Elgin Lions Club, 500 Fulton St., South Elgin. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children, with a family maximum of $20.

Beverages are not included; there will also be a cash bar. All money raised by this benefit will go directly to the family of Bradley Wendt to help with their medical expenses.

If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation, an account has been set up at Associated Bank.
