Tinley Park police release new sketch of mall shooting suspect

Tinley Park Police have released an updated sketch to help find the gunman who killed five people in a woman's clothing store earlier this month.

The new composite sketch shows a frontal view with the ski cap off, showing braids of his hair.

The suspect is described as a male, 5 feet 9 to 6 feet tall, weighing 200 to 230 pounds, with thick braided hair and a receding hairline.

His hair is braided with three to five puffy corn rows pulled back toward the back of his head. One braid hung down the right cheek and he has four light green beads on the end.

The Feb. 2 attack at a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park left five women dead and another injured.

The sketch is based on a description from the survivor, a female store employee.

Anyone with information about the crime should call Tinley Park police at (708) 444-5394.
