Grass may be greener, but it has to be mowed

MESA, Ariz. -- Apparently, some people do want grass to grow under their feet.

While Japanese media members were interviewing Kosuke Fukudome outside the front door of the Fitch Park offices Monday, a worker on a riding mower began cutting the grass about 50 feet away.

That doesn't make for very good sound bites. So a TV producer ran over to the man on the mower and asked him to stop. He did, and no doubt now the folks back home know Fukudome is just here to help the team win.
