St. Mary students chosen for National Junior Honor Society

Fifteen students from St. Mary Catholic School in Elgin were inducted as the first members of a newly chartered St. Mary Catholic School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society in a ceremony held during Catholic Schools Week.

Members were selected by the chapter's Faculty Council for meeting high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship and character.

Students inducted were Natalie Himmel, Amy Jazwiec, Kali Kossakowski, Aine Naughton, Luke Duffy, Olivia Erickson, Melissa Gross, Mitch Hamilton, Sean Kearney, Drew Kelly, Nicole Montiel, Tyler Morawski, Bryan Oswald, Sean Richmond and Dan Werner.
