The briefs: Restaurant helps toddler

Restaurant helps toddler

Dine out for Valentine's Day and help Lombard toddler Tim Grobart's medical bills from his recent heart surgery. Benefit nights will be held Tuesday through Thursday at Fuddruckers, 1500 Branding Ave., just off Finley Road and south of Butterfield Road in Downers Grove. The restaurant will donate between 10 percent and 20 percent of its proceeds from diners presenting the certificate available at www.littletimmygrobart.com on those dates. The Grobart family, including 16-month-old Tim, plans to be at the restaurant about 7 p.m. Wednesday. Certificates for a Jewel Shop & Share fundraiser also are posted on the Web site.
