Notre Dame has Pitt's number

Tulyah Gaines scored 13 points, and No. 16 host Notre Dame defeated No 15 Pittsburgh 81-66 to win for the 17th time in 18 games all time against the Panthers.

Lindsay Schrader added 12 points for the Irish (18-5, 6-3 Big East). Devereaux Peters was leading the Irish in scoring with 11 points when she left the game with 13:44 left with an injured left knee. Melissa Lechlitner and Becca Bruszewski added 10 points each.

Marcedes Walker led the Panthers (18-5, 8-2) with 18 points..

Louisville 79, DePaul 68: Angel McCoughtry had 41 points and 9 rebounds to lead visiting Louisville to a victory over No. 25 DePaul.

Candyce Bingham added 16 points for Louisville (16-7, 5-5 Big East).

Deirdre Naughton led the Blue Demons (16-7, 5-5) with 22 points. Allie Quigley added 18 points.

N. Carolina 75, Ga. Tech 61: Rashanda McCants had 19 points, Erlana Larkins added 18 and No. 3 North Carolina (22-0, 9-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) beat host Georgia Tech. Janie Mitchell led Georgia Tech (18-6, 5-5) with 22 points.
