What's wrong with being out of reach?

Why is it that more people do not utilize its greatness? It is clearly my favorite feature as I am not an OB/GYN or run a major corporation, and like most of you, really do not need to be tethered to a device 24-7. Trust me, you are not that important.
I'll keep my land line phone, direct wired, so my pals can call me and we can celebrate the end of George W Bush's administration on Jan. 20, 2009. But I will still use my cell only when I choose, and if someone can't get a hold of me, too bad.
