Learn about brain dominance at workshop
Judson University is hosting a community workshop on brain dominance for interested adults, led by Joseph Miraglia.
"Dr. Joe" will teach about how we are "wired," and help us make the best use of the interests and passions that you have. Attendees will learn facts such as this: If you use the dominant lobe of your brain about 70 percent or more on the job and in other major life activities, you feel smart, energized, learn quickly and do well consistently. When you use the dominant lobe less than 70 percent, you feel anxious and depressed. "Burnt out" is the usual result of that ongoing behavior.
Miraglia comes with a background as a human resource executive, consultant, executive coach, and lecturer. During his time with Motorola, he initiated Motorola University with campuses around the world.
This workshop will be held from noon to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Eagle Lounge at Judson's Lindner Tower, near the intersection of Route 31 and I-90 in Elgin. There is a $10 per person fee, which includes a box lunch.
For information, call Gerry at (847) 628-1526. Deadline for placing reservations is Monday.
