Briefs: Naper Days meeting set:

Naper Days organizers will hold a town meeting for volunteers at 7 p.m. March 5 at the Pre-Emption House Tavern at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. The festival, which celebrates the city's heritage, will take place over Father's Day weekend, June 15-17, at the settlement. The event includes Taste of Naperville, musical entertainment and bed races. For details, visit www.naperdays.org.

NCO names three to board

Naperville's NCO Youth & Family Services has named three members to its board of directors. Jeffery Clark is a senior manager for QDI Strategies Inc. of Libertyville. A six-year resident of Naperville, he is a member of the Naperville Unit District 203 School, Family and Community Partnership committee. Joe Vozar is a retired chief financial officer for Household Finance Corp. and a 28-year resident of the Naperville area. He has been involved with the Galaxy traveling soccer club and Naperville North's girls lacrosse team. Tony Chirico is a former NCO board president and owner and principal of AG Real Estate Investors LLC. NCO is a private, nonprofit agency supported in part by United Way. Its services include sliding-fee counseling for youth, adults and families and 24-hour crisis intervention for runaways and lockouts.

Coffee with the cops

Glen Ellyn's police department will host Coffee with the Cops at 8 a.m. Saturday on the second floor of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane St. Police say the intent is for residents to come to an informal setting to get answers about police-related issues. Chief Phil Norton, Deputy Chief Bill Holmer and others will be available for about two hours to answer questions or discuss topics.
