Need clearer details on Cuban torture

The U.S. government should make public information it has on the presence of communist Cubans torturing American prisoners during the Vietnam war.

For one, it would put credibility to John McCain's assertion that Cubans regularly tortured American prisoners.

At the time, the communist regime of Fidel Castro had meddled in several conflicts around the world, especially if they involved American soldiers.

They brought to these conflicts what they had learned from their Soviet allies, especially the interrogation techniques taught to them by the KGB.

If there is evidence of Cubans torturing Americans it should be publicized as proof that McCain is right, despite Castro's assertions to the contrary.

A positive move by the U.S. government in this area would shut up Fidel Castro once and for all on this matter and put to rest doubts about John McCain's public statements.
