Terrorists not only people to fear
Recently President Bush said, in response to the mortgage lending crisis, that "Wall Street got drunk. And now it's got a hangover." I would just like to go on the record and say that I have been drunk many times and not once during any of those times did I try to steal peoples' money. As a matter of fact, it's been my experience that people become generous or loose with their money after a few. Wall Street wasn't drunk, they got greedy, especially when they figured out that no one in charge was paying attention or cared that Wall Street was hedging our future and national security for their benefit. And low and behold, the American people are picking up the tab once again by bailing out Fannie "Get Your Gun" Mae and Freddie Mac "and Cheese." Where's the outrage? I'm not afraid of the terrorists, I'm afraid of my own government.
One last thing, I'm also tired of the "Drunken Sailor" analogy (Blagojevich). The people I've met that have served in the navy are more likely to buy you a beer than have you sign on the dotted line for a bad loan. Get real, America.
