'No' to DuPage Co. sales tax hike

The Feb. 5 primary ballot contains a proposition that asks voters to approve a sales tax increase for DuPage County government.

We strongly recommend a no vote.

The sales tax increase requested on the ballot is no longer necessary in the wake of sales tax increases that the county has been granted as part of the mass transit funding bill recently approved in Springfield.
