Chamberlain acquires Digitech

ELMHURST -- The Chamberlain Group Inc. said it acquired Digitech International Inc. of Asheville, N.C., as part of its ongoing growth plans in the integrated access control industry. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. For 20 years, Digitech has developed and marketed access control and security systems for the worldwide self-storage industry. Products include automatic gates and keypads, video surveillance and recording systems, door alarms, site graphics and onsite communications systems.
