A dual language program is an enriched form of education. The goal of this innovative, research-based, two-way language initiative is to develop a high level of achievement in speaking, reading and writing in two languages for students in kindergarten to fifth grade. The program strives to promote bilingualism and dual literacy while promoting positive attitudes, knowledge and appreciation of other cultures and their languages. It also helps students to meet or exceed the state standards in all subject areas.
