Auditions

Auditions for "The Outsiders," by Christopher Sergel, adapted from the book by S.E. Hinton, will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18 at the Albright Theatre, 100 North Island Avenue, Batavia.

The cast includes 10 young men ages 14 to 20 for the leads and an additional 10 young men for ensemble roles, including gang members for the rumble. All men will be educated in hand-to-hand stage combat.

Also needed are 3 to 7 young women ages 16 to 20 for leads and ensemble, and two adult men and two adult women ages 30 and older for speaking roles.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. It is strongly suggested that those auditioning should be familiar with the book and the characters.
