Free senior transit rides long overdue

As a senior who uses the CTA three or four times a week, I am excited at the idea of being able to ride the bus or train for free.

I have a sister who lives in Philadelphia, and she is able to ride for free on their transit system -- just not during rush hour.

It got her out of the house, and gave her more independence. My opinion is that this is long overdue.
