Artwork proposals now being accepted
The village of Buffalo Grove is accepting proposals for artwork, such as a sculpture or fountain, to enrich the village and enhance the municipal complex located at Lake Cook Road and Raupp Boulevard. A copy of the specifications approved by the village board at their Dec. 3 meeting can be found on the Village's web site at www.vbg.org.
All proposals should include photographs or sketches of the proposed artwork; each artist may submit up to five proposals. A contract will be considered based on quality of the artwork, representation of the Village and community, durability, aesthetic appeal, uniqueness and references. Artists interested in submitting a proposal should review the specifications and complete the application by Feb. 8. Questions may be directed to Ghida Neukirch, (847) 459-2518 or gneukirch@vbg.org.
