St. Charles girls b-ball clinic to benefit charity
The annual "Hoops for Hope" girls' basketball clinic will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Charles North High School, 255 Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
This clinic, open to all girls from first to eighth grades in the Community Unit School District 303, will feature various skill development stations throughout the afternoon.
The clinic will be run by members of the girls varsity basketball team from both St. Charles East and St. Charles North high schools.
The cost of the clinic is $25 per person and includes a camp T-shirt.
All proceeds will be donated to the Lazarus House whose mission is to provide hospitality, food, safe shelter and support services to persons connected to the greater St. Charles community who are homeless or in need.
