Thoughts on the war and politics
The stupidity of effectively abandoning the war against al-Qaida (the perpetrators of 9/11) at the Afghan/Pakistan border area five years ago and transferring our almost exclusive military resources (weapons, equipment, personnel and intelligence) to the unnecessary war against Iraq, is never ending.
We allowed al-Qaida to regroup, re-strengthen and promote its terrorist influence among the populace. Now, Pakistan is embroiled in political chaos, riots and violence, and a new Islamic extremist offensive is most probable. How do the following so-called "experienced" Democratic senators (Clinton, Edwards, as well as Biden and Dodd, who've since dropped out of the race) have the gall to think they are qualified to be our president after having voted for the Bush Administration's war of choice against Iraq?
