Thanks for helping out furry friends

On behalf of all of the four-legged friends we serve at Anderson Animal Shelter, the shelter Board of Directors and staff members would like to thank the community for its outpouring of generosity in response to our holiday "wish list."

In response to our list of needed items that appeared in the Daily Herald and other local newspapers, we have received much-needed food, blankets, dog and cat toys and other items that we use daily to care for the animals.

Thank you, Fox Valley, for being so generous to those who rely on us for everything. And thank you, Daily Herald, for helping us spread the word.
