Bartlett police: Teen robbed cabbie

Bartlett police have arrested and charged an 18-year-old who they say called for a cab ride and then robbed the cabdriver at gunpoint.

Police said Julius Edmond, 18, of 167 Peter Court, pointed a silver handgun at a taxi driver and took about $100 from him before fleeing the scene Tuesday.

Officers found Edmond crouching behind a dumpster near Daniel Court and North Avenue, and he was charged with felony armed robbery, authorities said.
