Batavia Citizens Academy accepting applications now
The Batavia Police Department is now accepting applications for its third Citizens Police Academy.
The class will meet for three hours on Thursday nights starting Feb. 21.
Each class covers a specific component of police work, such as criminal and juvenile law, patrol, community policing and traffic stops.
