Little change since flaws were expose

It is three years since the notorious referendum was passed. That's when Larry Snow made all of us aware of the apparent fraudulent activities perpetrated by some members of the administration, including giving false info to the state; monies missing, misappropriated and ill spent; and lack of internal controls.

Almost none of the above have been corrected due to the negligence, lack of desire, ineptitude and incompetence of the administration and board.

This is 2008. We still have an outdated accounting system that should have been replaced. The new comptroller should be qualified to make these corrections so that fraud does not again occur. The comptroller should be a highly competent professional not looking to be pals with the administration.

Snow and Aileen Seedorf have had the courage, determination and knowledge to fight the system, despite the abuse they get from other board members and some in the community.

Can you afford to be silent and let this continue? Please join me in thanking them. Show them that you stand with them as they stand for you. District 158, for all monies spent, should be a district whose scores are at the top of the list, not the bottom.
