Lauzen has shown he will serve us
Chris Lauzen has identified himself as a true man of the people in that he has represented us over all these many years. He has always been open and ready to serve at any given notice and accomplished many things for his district, which has also benefited the state as well as the country. Now with this opportunity as our future, elected United States Congressman, he again will be that truly representative, for all of us as he has been over these past years. A man of the people and from the people.
I certainly agree with a letter written by Jack Roeser, chairman of the Taxpayers Network, in the Dec. 19, 2007, edition of the Daily Herald.
I too was seriously disappointed with Dennis Hastert's performance over the last several years as our representative, in that while he was the Speaker of the House, the third highest public official of the United State of America, he allowed or, let our (Republican) majority dwindle to shame. Now with his endorsement for Oberweis, he has caused a considerable extra cost to us, the taxpayers, for his special election, instead of finishing his term out as he stated that he would do.
Lauzen, has been a steward of his office as our elected representative of the State Senate over these may years. In other words, he can be trusted to efficiently perform his duties and always touching back to his base, (constituents).
That's what is so different with Chris compared to the politicians that have been given the opportunity to represent us in Washington, D.C., and failed to do a stewards' job. Do not forget to vote and vote twice for Chris Lauzen. This is because of the situation created by Hastert.
