Liberal left rants unfairly at Bush
After Charlie Gibson began his so called "moderating" of one of the earlier so-called "debates" with a diatribe against President Bush, baiting the Republican candidates, it occurred to me that terrorists and our enemies must be watching the upcoming elections with breathless anticipation.
They, like the liberal left, can't wait until George Bush is no longer the commander and chief of our country. Not that he ever had the luxury of being treated as such by the left and their lap dog media.
Sept. 11 is becoming a fading memory, and the fact that we have not yet been attacked since that horror gives no pause for thought to those who so hate this president.
Democratic candidates couldn't speak at all if they were unable to rant about "this administration" (of which, by the way, no one in it is even running).
One wonders what will happen when this election is over. I don't have a lot of optimism that we will suddenly come together as a nation, no matter who wins.
