Elk Grove firefighter treated, released after fire

An Elk Grove Village firefighter was treated and released after a spectacular garage fire Monday, authorities said. Flames engulfed a motorcycle and car and spread to the house. Fire Chief David Miller on Tuesday said the fire on Lonsdale Road is still under investigation.

A second person was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village with unknown injuries not related to the fire, officials said.
