City to collect trees starting Monday

The Des Plaines Public Works Department will collect real, bare Christmas trees (no decorations, stands, lights, tinsel or plastic bags) from residents next week. All residents participating in the program must have trees at the curb before 7 a.m. Monday. All zones will be collected during the week.

ARC Disposal will also collect bare Christmas trees after the Public Works collections. Have bare trees curbside by 6 a.m. for regularly scheduled ARC collections.
