What is your message about race?

Barry Rozner wrote a great article about race in the media on Jan. 21. What Billy Williams said to Barry about "knowing this country has achieved something special when a black manager is hired in baseball and no one thinks to mention his color" summed it up perfectly.

Then I got to page 9 of the same section, and read about "(Tony) Dungy, the first black coach to win a Super Bowl. …"

I'm confused. What message are you trying to send?
