Chicago man facing 20 counts in woman's death
The Cook County State's Attorney's office says the man accused of killing pharmaceutical representative Nailah Franklin has been indicted on more than a dozen counts of murder and kidnapping.
A spokesman for the prosecutor's office says 31-year-old Reginald Potts Jr. of Chicago faces 16 counts of first-degree murder, four counts of aggravated kidnapping and one count of vehicular hijacking and robbery.
Potts has been held without bond since he was charged last month in Franklin's death, and prosecutors say they may seek the death penalty against him.
Franklin's body was found September 27, eight days after she was reported missing.
