Seniors shouldn't have school taxes
Kudos to Bob Skarda for his letter on tax relief.
I too am a senior living on a fixed income. I'm 84, never had children and I'm still paying school taxes.
I do not get a pension or retirement check. I pay my own health insurance which increases every year.
I think by the time you're 65 you should not have to pay school taxes. That should no longer be our responsibility.
