Carpentersville men accused of sex assault

Two Carpentersville men were accused Sunday of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl who lived in their residence.

Rosalio Bernal-Delgado, 47, was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and Magdaleno Sayago, 21, was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, police said.

Both men live on the 2000 block of Berkshire Court, police said.

Police said they were informed of the incidents after the girl had been taken to Sherman Hospital in Elgin over the weekend.

Bond for Bernal-Delgado was set at $25,000. Sayago got a $15,000 bond. Neither were able to post bond and both were taken to the Kane County jail.

Both are scheduled to appear in court again Feb. 14 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
