Arson not suspected at Pyromaniac fireworks store in Ind.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Investigators don't suspect arson in the fire that destroyed a Fort Wayne fireworks store.
The city Fire Department said Thursday that the cause would remain undetermined because of the extent of the damage to the Pyromaniac Fireworks store. The blaze broke out Wednesday and lasted for hours, with numerous loud booms and heavy smoke from the burning fireworks.
The store was closed at the time and no injuries were reported.
Store owner Gary Graham says it had been at the location for seven years and estimates he lost about $50,000 of inventory.
Fire Chief Pete Kelly says no violations were found when the store was last inspected in June.
