2 downstate girls who died in fire remembered

HENRY -- Two central Illinois girls who died in a mobile home fire earlier this year have been remembered with a new piece of playground equipment.

A memorial was held Friday in the town of Henry in Marshall County to dedicate a new climbing wall to 6-year-old Jasmine Chase and her 4-year-old sister Jade. The girls weren't able to escape a blaze at their home in May.

Their mother, 26-year-old Stephanie Chase, was injured as she tried to rescue the girls.

The new climbing wall is for kindergarten through fifth-grade children.
