BEST still won't accept it was wrong

Recently Fence Post printed letters putting down school board members Larry Snow and Aileen Seedorf. Kevin Rewerts of Algonquin authored one and the other was from Doug Meyers of Lake in the Hills. To the unknowing, it appears that these are two concerned parents. But are they? Could it be that their motive for their letter-writing campaign is linked directly to the positions they hold with BEST?

It is my understanding that they are official leaders of BEST and that they were very instrumental in passing the last District 158 referendum.

You remember, the referendum that was admittedly based on false and erroneous data compiled by the previous administrators of School District 158. Rewerts and Meyers worked diligently to promote and pass that bogus referendum. Even the Daily Herald acknowledged it was a misrepresentation to the voters.

Now BEST is bent on trying to destroy Snow and Seedorf, who were instrumental in shedding light on that boondoggle referendum and those who created it. How long must they be punished by BEST for being correct?

With some people, even when they are proven wrong they can never accept it. Isn't putting the school district firmly in the black enough? Will you not be satisfied until there are seven rubber stamping school board members all doing BEST's bidding?

BEST could have a little integrity about the reasons behind why its dislikes Larry and Aileen. Zealots should not try to pass for sheep. For those readers not aware, BEST is a local political action committee called Building Exceptional Schools Together.
