Easy takeout

Takeout for the whole family is made simple at Double G's with the introduction of "meals for four out the door." Choose from hickory smoked BBQ chicken, homemade BBQ glazed meatloaf, smoked BBQ brisket, boneless BBQ short ribs or BBQ baby back ribs. Prices range from $30 to $40. Meals include soup of the day, bread and whipped butter and two sides of smashed potatoes, confetti rice, baked beans or coleslaw.

Burgers at Morton's

Celebrate Morton's 31st anniversary with complimentary mini-burgers from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, in the bar of any of the six area The Steakhouse locations.

Morton's The Steakhouse is at 1751 Freedom Drive in Naperville; 9525 W. Bryn Mawr in Rosemont; 1470 McConnor Parkway in Schaumburg; and 699 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook.

Eat with Santa

Butter up the big guy at a meet and eat with Santa Sunday at Grotto Oak Brook. Brunch includes salads, seafood, an omelette station, a carving station and hot buffet items including salmon, potatoes, French toast, vegetables and more. The cost is $25 adults, $12 kids ages 5 to 12. Pictures are two for $10.
