We put the 'baby' in baby boomers

Baby boomers? More like "baby bust" if you ask this one. As I head into my mid-fifties, I look back to see what our generation has done for mankind, and more specifically for the United States, and I'm not impressed.

We are seriously the most selfish generation in our history and, when it comes to what we feel is ours, to change. We were handed a great and strong nation by our parents, who fought and died, who gave their sweat and blood for us to have a better and stronger nation than what they had. Our children are entitled to the same thing.

But, instead, we have turned it into a self centered, wishy washy, no accountability mess. We demand more and more"free" stuff as if were entitled to it. Who says we are? We are not here to mold this country into something we think is ours to change; it's not.

We owe our children what we got, a great and strong nation, certainly not this bankrupt, socialized, corrupt society that's being created by this current Congress and administration that pits the poor against the rich, that pits the workers against the work providers, that pits one group against another, that crafts and votes bills in their own interest and not the interest of the population and future generations.

Baby boomers? "Babies," yes, "Boomers," hardly.
