Put down your hate, in name of the lord

Attention all Christians. We have entered the season of Advent, a time when we celebrate the coming of the one we call Prince of Peace.

In his honor, whatever your political persuasion, consider a self-imposed moratorium on sending those mean-spirited, sometimes hateful and often untrue e-mail messages disparaging those with whom you disagree.

At least until the tree comes down, focus on ways that you can glorify and please him by joining with the angels to help spread peace on earth and good will to all - even those who have yet to see the light.
