DuPage Credit Union continues backpack tradition

NAPERVILLE - DuPage Credit Union said its 10th annual We've Got Your Back backpack fundraiser raised nearly $5,300 for DuPage County students in need.

The money raised were used to purchase school supplies for DuPage County students and was distributed by the DuPage Regional Office of Education, the credit union said.

Since its inception, the We've Got Your Back fundraiser has raised more than $121,000 and provided thousands of backpacks and supplies to local students.

"Thank you to everyone who donated this year," said Amy Brandt, senior vice president of digital, payments and learning transformation. "Your donations were used to help alleviate some of the financial stress families feel with back-to-school needs."

DuPage Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution with more than 46,000 members.
