Snow forecast cancels Algonquin H1N1 clinic
With heavy snow expected in the area over the next 24 hours, the McHenry County Department of Health canceled an H1N1 clinic scheduled for Wednesday at Jacobs High School in Algonquin.
Along with the announcement, however, the department said it would be holding five additional clinics this month at locations across the county.
The newly added clinics will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock; 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 16 at Johnsburg High School in Johnsburg; 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 20 at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake; noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 22 at the health department annex A in Woodstock; and 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 29 at Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock. The first three clinics are for anyone 6 months and older. The last two are for anyone 10 and older.
