2 charged in East Dundee security scuffle
Two Carpentersville men face felony charges after they attacked security officers, including one who was pregnant, at a banquet hall near East Dundee, police said.
Chad W. Conway, 31, of the 1900 block of Scott Circle, and Jacob A. Rosenbach, 23, of the 0-99 block of Ash Street, were arrested shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Milk Pail Restaurant and Banquet Facility, 14N640 Dundee Ave., according to the Kane County sheriff's office.
Lt. Pat Gengler said the men fought with at least two security officers, one of whom was pregnant, after they were told to leave. Citing preliminary reports, Gengler said he didn't know additional circumstances, including whether anyone was seriously hurt.
Conway and Rosenbach each were charged Saturday with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct. Authorities also charged Conway with mob action, and Rosenbach with criminal damage to property for damaging a car during the fight and aggravated battery to a pregnant person, Gengler said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Conway remained in the county jail with bond set at $40,000. Rosenbach had bonded out. Neither had an attorney listed in court records.
The men are scheduled to appear Dec. 8 in front of Judge James C. Hallock.
