Protest proposed change in health care

I'm totally opposed to any further expansion of the federal government in the area of health care.

Even if I thought this was remotely permissible under the Constitution, there is no reason to believe that the cost estimates for this program are accurate. No similar government entitlement program has ever come close to meeting the cost estimates proposed at the time of adoption.

Further, the proposed program fails to offer much simpler solutions to the problems that exist in our system - things like interstate insurance sales and tort reform.

Finally, the coercive aspects of the proposed legislation are a travesty.

Americans should be active in advising their representatives in Congress of their opposition to changes of the type being contemplated.
